If Tomorrow Comes by Sidney Sheldon

Imagine reading another Sheldon's artwork right after Bergdorf Blondes..~ Well, a very dramatic shift of reading genre. It's like reading Mathematics book after the Sejarah book. (err, do u actually read Maths book...??) It's like jumping skip-rope after snail crawling. It's like eating petai after you ate air batu campur. So, I come out reading this thrilling-chasing-con-artist game rather slower than my optimum reading speed.

I might say this book really brought my mind to Prison Break with *ehem*super-hot*ehem Scofield and his endless plans to escape from Fox River.  Except the fact that it's not Scofield wer'e talking about, it's Tracy Whitney's; and it's ain't Fox River she's stranded in, it's Southern Lousiana Penitentiary for Women.

Tracy Whitney is rather -- "safe" -- lady; who don't have any records in any police wanted list, and who lives with world full of flowers and butterflies and sweet things.  This beautiful life of her changes abruptly with the suicidal death of her mother, who was being stripped down to bankruptcy from some Joe Romano who works with Anthony Orsatti.  See the name -- very mafia like.  So, I guess you got the picture.

What's interesting is that she's being thrown to the prison after being falsely accused of attempted murder and after being bull-shitted by some lawyer who works for the Orsatti guy.  Since then, she vows to avenge on everyone that causes the death of her mother and anyone who causes the mishap in her life --

Despite the 5years (if not mistaken) prison sentence she received, she is very determined to escape from the prison -- there, sangatla Scofield-prison-break-ish thingy..

So, it's a story of how the Whitney outwitted her victims and police with her intelligence and swindelisms.  Again, very Scofield-prison-break-ish thingy~  First time reading it, I was like -- perghh.. gile pandai -- kind of expression.  But the second time reading it wouldn't be as exciting as the first one since you already have all the tricks in your pocket.   (^u^)

Exciting?  Very very much!

Mendebarkan?  Hell yeah!

Like it?  Me like it~

Not really. He have one book with a Robert Bellamy as the hero. Quite a nice book too, but some people find it not as interesting as the female hero thing.
Like most people say, only the men know how to dress a woman. Err, ape kena mengena..haha..

Why don't u try it, and tell me how it feel..hoho

Sheldon's protagonists are all women, eh? it's like an ad for 'girl power' except that the writer is not even a girl. ahahaha. yeah, her five year sentence are similar to Scof's.

anyway, what would eating petai after abc would taste like? nice analogy...haha
